IBPS PO 2017 – Application Form, Cutoff, Result, Admit Card, Syllabus

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS PO Exam to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) in various Public Sector Banks. The IBPS PO Exam is conducted in three stages: Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. Applicants are shortlisted at all three stages of the exam. In the end, final merit list is prepared on the basis of which applicants are allotted in the banks.

The application form for IBPS PO 2017 was released on 16th August and the last date for applying was 5th September 2017. IBPS has released the admit card for the prelims exam on 21st September 2017 and the last date to download the admit card is 14th October.

The preliminary exam will be conducted on 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th October. The total number of posts for PO/Management Trainee is 3562. The number of participating Banks is 20 out of which only 9 banks are recruiting. The Mains exam will be conducted on 26th November and interview will be held in January/February 2018. IBPS PO Cutoff

After the successful completion of the IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) exam, conducting authority will declare the Cutoff 2017 for Prelims and Mains exam. IBPS PO 2017 Cutoff is the minimum marks that a candidate has to score to qualify the exam. On the basis of this cutoff, candidates are shortlisted for the next stage of the IBPS PO Selection Procedure.

IBPS PO 2017 Selection Procedure

All the applicants are shortlisted through the Selection ProcedureTest takers are selected on the basis of their performance in Prelims, Mains, and Personal Interview rounds. In the end, candidates are allotted by the final merit list and preference of the Banks.

The marks of the prelims exam are not considered for the final merit list and it is just for shortlisting the candidates for the Mains exam.
