JEE Main Exam Pattern

JEE Main consists of two papers:

Paper-I: – For B.Tech/B.E Courses

Paper-II: – For B.Arch Courses

A candidate can choose any one or both papers. Paper-I has three sections including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. All the three sections have equal marks weight age. Each section has 30 multiple choice objective type questions having four options. Paper-II has negative marking wherein an incorrect answer is negatively marked by one-fourth of the maximum mark allotted to the question.

Paper-II has also three sections including Mathematics, Drawing, and Aptitude. Mathematics and Aptitude have Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and Drawing section has Drawing based questions. The time duration for each paper is 3 hours. The candidates can opt the question paper in any language either English or Hindi.
