How To Calculate IELTS Score??

IELTS Result is calculated by taking the mean of a total of four tests that are Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Overall, the IELTS band score is reported to nearest whole or half band. It means that if an average score of four tests ends in .25 then it will be round off to the half band and if it ends in .75 then it rounds off to the next whole band. For example, if a candidate gets 6.5 in Listening, 6.5 in Reading, 5.0 for Writing and 7.0 for Speaking then the overall band score will be (22/4=6.25). But it is round off to the 6.5.

How To Send IELTS Score To Universities??

Candidates can send their IELTS Score to 5 Universities free of cost. Students choose the Universities at the time of registration. As candidates register for the exam, the system asks them whether they want to send their scores to the University or not. If they choose yes, then they have to enter the Unversity or Institution details. The Copy of the Result will be sent to the selected Universities by the exam centers.

Hard copies can be sent to the Universities with an extra charge of US $3.75. To send the TRF to the international destination by Courier candidates have to pay the US $ 19.
