Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2018) is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. This exam is conducted to offer the admission to post graduate management programs at over 150 Business Schools across India. From this Year, XAT will be conducted Online. Before XAT 2018, this exam was conducted in offline mode. XAT Exam is held on the first Sunday of January every year.
To apply for XAT 2018, candidates have to fill the XAT Application form which has released on 16th August in online mode. The last date of filling the application form without late fee is 30th November. After successfully filing the application form, candidates can download the admit card which will be available from 20th December 2017 onwards. XAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check all the requirements of XAT Eligibility Criteria below as prescribed by the exam conducting authority:
- Applying candidate must have a minimum three years Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute or University.
- The final year students of graduation completing their Bachelor’s degree by 10th June 2018, can also apply for XAT Exam 2018.
- Foreign candidates or NRIs (except Dubai and Nepal Cities) can apply through GMAT Scores.
XAT 2018 Application Form
The Application Form has released by XLRI Jamshedpur on 16th August. XAT 2018 application form is available online. Candidates have to register first to fill the XAT Application form on the official website. The last date of filling the application form of XAT 2018 without late fees is 30th November.
The application form can be filled in three steps which are registration, filling the application form with required details and paying the application fees.The application fee for XAT 2018 is Rs.1,650/- for all category candidates and Rs. 2,000/- for late fees payment.
XAT 2018 Exam Centers
The list of XAT 2018 exam centers has 47 test cities across the 22 states of India. This year, there are two international XAT Test Cities which are Dubai and Kathmandu. candidates have to select the XAT 2018 test cities while filling the XAT Application Form according to their preference. XAT Exam Pattern
XAT Exam Pattern 2018 has released by XLRI Jamshedpur which is the conducting body of the XAT exam. The XAT 2018 will be conducted on 7th January 2018 in online mode. This is the first time that XAT exam will be conducted online. Till the last year, this exam was conducted offline or Paper-Pen mode. Candidates preparing for the XAT exam must go through the XAT 2018 exam pattern. XAT Admit Card
XAT Admit Card 2018 will be released by the conducting body on 20th December onwards. Candidates who have completed the registration process can download the XAT 2018 admit card. Admit card of XAT 2018 will be available online on the official website. Candidates can download the XAT admit card through the link provided in this article. To download the admit card, candidates have to log in through their registered id and password.
Steps To Download XAT Admit Card 2018
- Firstly, visit the official website.
- After that, enter your user id and password.
- Click on the Login button.
- After successful login, click on the tab Download Admit Card.
- Download the admit card in pdf format and take the print out of that.
- Keep safe the admit card till the admission procedure of XAT completes.
XAT 2018 Answer Key
The XLRI will release the XAT 2018 answer along with the solution and answer sheet/OMR sheet in the third week of January 2018. Till the last year, XAT test was conducted offline and many coaching institutes used to release their answer key on the date of exam. But from this year, the test will be conducted online so there is no availability of answer key released by coaching institutes. Candidates can only check the official answer key which will release by the authority.
XAT 2018 Result
The XAT Result 2018 will be released on 31st January 2018. The result will release along with the score card which will carry the section wise and overall scores as well as the percentile. Candidates can check the result and download the score card from the official website. Conducting Authority will also send a hard copy of the score card to the registered address of the candidate. Candidates are advised to keep the score card safe till the all admission process completes.
The XAT cut off for XLRI Jamshedpur will release along with the result. The XAT cutoff is the minimum marks that a candidate has to score to be eligible for the admission in XAMIs member institutes. the cutoff is calculated on the basis of various factors like the total number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of available seats etc.

XAT Participating Institutes 2018 are the colleges which offer the admission to MBA programs on the basis of XAT Score. The list of XAT 2018 participating institutes has announced by the conducting body XLRI Jamshedpur. XAT 2018 Selection Procedure
The selection procedure of XAT varies from institute to institute. There are basically two steps of the selection procedure. In the first step, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of XAT score and Institute cutoff. In the second step, shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Essay Writing or Group Discussion/Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds. After the completion of the second step, final merit list will be prepared by the institutes which include the name of candidates who will get the admission.
