Indian Navy has announced an opening of 38 Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch (for male/ female) and Permanent Commission (PC) in Executive Branch (Logistics Cadre) (for Male) vacancies in the Indian Navy for Jan 19 Course conducted at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. All Interested applicants can now apply online between 20-01-2018 and 10-02-2018 (Both dates inclusive).

Age limit criteria:

For the Post of  SSC (Education)

Candidates born between 02 Jan 1994 – 01 Jan 1998 (Both Dates Inclusive) may apply for the SSC (Education) post.

Both Female and Male candidates can apply for the SSC (Education).

For the Post of PC (Logistics)

Candidates born between 02 Jan 1994 – 01 Jul 1999 (Both Dates Inclusive) may apply for the SSC (Education) post.

Only Male candidates can apply for the PC (Logistics).

Educational Qualification

For the Post of  SSC (Education)

Candidates possess the Master or Graduate degree in the following discipline such as M.Sc. (Physics/Nuclear Physics) with Maths in B.Sc.,  M.Sc. (Maths/Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc., M.A. (English),
BE / B.Tech (Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering), BE / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)  with at least 60% marks from the recognized College/ Institution

For the Post of PC (Logistics)

Candidates may apply for the position of PC (Logistics) possess the Master or Graduate degree in the following discipline such as BE/B.Tech in any discipline or MBA with First Class or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with first class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or MCA / M.Sc (IT).

Selection Procedure

Final selection of candidates will be on the basis of SSB Interviews consisting of Two-Stage process.

Stage 1: Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. The Duration of Stage 1 test is only 1 day.

Stage 2: Only those candidates will be further considered who cleared their Stage 1 test. The Duration of Stage 2 test is 4 days.  Candidate will further go for a Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination.

Educational Qualification

Applicant should have passed the B.Tech degree or in the final year of the engineering in any discipline with minimum 60% marks till 5th/7th Semester from a recognized University or Institute for Air Traffic Controller (ATC) post only. For other two posts, additionally, the candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 10th & 12th Class and minimum 60% marks in English in 10th Class.
