IBPS RRB 2017 – Registration, Eligibility, Result, Cutoff, Selection Process

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Written Test (CWT) known as IBPS RRB Exam for the recruitment of the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) or Gramin Banks for the post of Group-A Officer Scale-I, II & III and Group-B Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The total number of the participating Banks is 62. The final selection is done by the individual RRB on the basis of the number of vacancies and eligibility criteria.

The Applicants will be selected for the above posts through the prelims exam, mains/single exam, and interview round. Candidates will be selected for the post of Officer Assistant on the basis of prelims exam and mains exam. For the post of Officer Scale-I, applicants are selected through prelims exam, mains exam and interview while for the post of Officer Scale-II & III on the basis of prelims exam, single online exam, and interview round.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must check whether they are eligible or not before applying for the IBPS RRB exam. The exam conducting authority has decided the IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2017 for the applicants. The eligibility criteria are the requirements that a candidate has to meet to be eligible for applying. IBPS RRB 2017 Admit Card

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the IBPS RRB Admit Card 2017 for prelims exam of Officer Scale-1 and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). To Download the Hall Ticket 2017, applicants have to enter the registration number/date of birth and password. Applicants can download the admit card till 16th September for Officer Scale-1 and 24th September for Office Assistant.

The admit card carries the information like name of the candidate, exam date and time, exam venue and address, photo and signature of the candidate etc. The applicants who will qualify the prelims exam will be able to take the mains exam.

IBPS RRB Result 2017

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the IBPS RRB Result 2017 for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) preliminary exam on 9th October 2017. Applicants can check their Result for prelims exam online through the link provided in the article below. To check the result, applicants have to enter the registration number/roll number and date of birth.

The applicants have to score qualify the sectional as well as the overall cutoff to qualify the exam and to be shortlisted for the next stage of the Selection Procedure. The result for the Mains exam is expected to be declared in the month of the November.

IBPS RRB 2017 Cutoff

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks that an applicant has to score in order to qualify the exam. IBPS has released the result of the preliminary exam of Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant on 6th October and 9th October respectively. The IBPS RRB Cutoff 2017 will be declared within the 7 days of the result declaration.

The candidates who will qualify the cutoff for prelims exam will appear for the mains exam. The cutoff will be calculated on the basis of various factors which are given below in the article. IBPS RRB Selection Procedure

The applicants are selected for IBPS RRB vacancies on the basis of IBPS RRB Selection Procedure which is decided by the exam conducting authority. The selection procedure of Officer Scale I, II & III and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) is different.

The selection for the post of Officer Scale I, II & III is done on the basis of Mains Exam/Single Exam and Interview while on the other hand the for the Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the candidates are selected through Mains exam only.
