NATA Result 2017 Released – Check Score Card Here

NATA Result 2017 was announced by Council of Architecture (CoA) on 9th June. Candidates can check rank, marks scored as well as percentile scored by them in NATA 2017. Candidates can also download the scorecard along with the NATA 2017 Result. Aspirants can check the result by login in the portal. All candidates must score 25% marks in each subject to qualify the exam. This score is valid for the period of one year.

To check the NATA result, candidates have to enter their application number, password, security pin and captcha image. Candidates can check their OMR sheet and recorded response online before the declaration of the result. They can also apply for the rechecking of the same by paying Rs. 1000/- per question. Tie- Breaking Rule For NATA

If two or more candidates share the same marks then the tie between them is resolved following these rules:

  • Candidates scoring higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
  • In the tie still exists, candidates with less incorrect answers in mathematics will be given higher rank.
  • If the tie is still there, candidate scoring higher marks in General Aptitude will be given higher preference.
  • The further tie will be resolved by giving the candidate higher rank who have less number of wrong answers in the General Aptitude.
  • In the last, if the tie is still there, the candidate who is older will be awarded higher rank.

Normalization Process

The candidate who is applying for NATA 2016 score card will be given merit rank after normalization of NATA 2016 score with respect to NATA 2017. This will be used only for Counselling and Admission.

NATA Result Specifications

  • Candidates must score 25% of marks in Mathematics and General Aptitude section.
  • They should also score 25% marks in Drawing section.
  • The percentile of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of merit list.
  • Overall qualifying marks will be decided b the Council of Architecture on the basis of post-exam statistics.
