### How To Attempt Or Approach JEE Mains Paper and Score Good Marks?

**Read the Paper Carefully and Understand the Questions**

As you get paper firstly go through the paper and analyze the difficulty level of the paper. Next, you should filter the questions according to their difficulty level so that you can answer the easy questions first and following the difficult ones in the end.

**Arrange Subject Order**

After analyzing the JEE Mains Paper, you must decide the order of subjects to solve the paper. You must solve the strongest subject first and weakest in the end. In this way, you will solve a large number of questions in short period of time and secured a large number of marks. This will give you the high confidence to move on.

**Go To Your Strenght**

Another approach to solving the paper is that solve the chemistry subject first then either physics or mathematics. The reason behind it is chemistry is highest scoring subject even it is your weakest subject. It is time-saving because it needs no calculation and answer is either known to you or not known to you. So, there is no third option for the question.

**Rough Work’s Importance**

This is also important step to solve/approach the paper. You need to use the small space for rough work. Write the question number with the answer you are solving. So that at the time of rechecking you can recheck all the answers very quickly. In rough work, you do not need to write the answer properly. Just write the important steps and skip the small calculations.

**Time Management**

Now you have the strategy to solve the paper in a structured manner. Now, the most important step is time management while you are attempting a JEE Mains Examination. We have divided the paper into different cycles as easy, average and difficult. So in the first cycle, each question should not take more than a minute. After solving the first cycle check the time taken at each question.

Keep going on according to this method until 30-35 minutes left. After that stop solving the paper and recheck all the answers. It will take 10 -15 minutes if you have done the rough work properly. Now you left with 20 minutes then approach those questions that you can solve in limited time. Don’t solve those questions that will end in 10-15 minutes ( the answer to that question may be right or wrong) and left the questions which you can solve easily.
