IELTS Exam Pattern is graded on the IELTS 9-Band Scale b y the conducting bodies. This exam is conducted in two versions that are IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Both of these versions have 4 sections: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.
Listening and speaking components are same in both the versions while reading and writing components are different for both the versions that are IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. The total time duration of the test is 2 Hours and 45 Minutes. Listening, writing and reading tests are done in one sitting only while speaking test can be taken on the same day or within 7 days before or after the test.

IELTS Exam Syllabus
IELTS Syllabus is designed by the conducting authorities of the IELTS. The syllabus for both the versions of IELTS: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training has four sections namely Listening, reading, writing and speaking. IELTS result is scored on the 9-band scale. IELTS Result is made available after the 13 calendar days from the IELTS exam date. Candidates can check the result online which are declared by British Council and IDP. To check the result candidate have o enter the required details like Candidate number, ID number, and date of birth. The IELTS Result is available for 40 days only. After 40 days, candidates system will not show the result. IELTS Scores are graded on 9-band range. There is no pass or fail in the IELTS result.

IELTS Selection Procedure
There is no specific selection procedure for any organization as selection procedure varies from organization to organization.Every organization sets its own entry requirements while in some cases both IELTS versions are accepted. Candidates should score at least above 6 band score to qualify for most of the organizations.
