GMAT 2017 – Registration, Eligibility Criteria, Test Dates


GMAT 2017 which is known as Graduate Management Admission Test is an international level management entrance test. The test is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). This test is conducted for admission to MBA, Master of Accountancy, and Master of Finance and other 5,900 programs in more than 2000 business schools worldwide. The score is valid up to 5 years and it held around the year at over 600 exam centers across the world. This test is a computer adaptive test and the time duration of the test is 3.30 Hours. The test evaluates candidate’s 4 skills that are Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. GMAT Important Dates

GMAT 2017 has not specified dates as candidates can choose a date according to their convenience. A candidate can take the 5 exams within 12 month period. The candidate has to take the minimum 16 days break between two attempts. A candidate can take only 8 attempts in his/her lifetime.

GMAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Applying candidate must be a graduate from the recognized University. However, there are no specific Eligibility criteria for GMAT 2017 except above requirement.

For GMAT Registration 2017, candidates have to create an account on GMAC. For this, candidates have to visit the official website After creating the account, candidates can schedule the exam date according to their convenience and availability of date and time. Candidates have to choose the one exam center at which they wish to appear for the exam. Candidates can do the following things with his account:

GMAT Syllabus

GMAT Syllabus 2017 is divided in for sections that are Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. Candidates applying for the exam must check the syllabus for the preparation of the exam.

GMAT Exam Pattern

The time duration for the GMAT 2017 is 3 Hours and 30 Minutes. The GMAT Exam Pattern has four sections: Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning and Verbal and Analytical Writing Assessment.

GMAT Result

GMAT Result will be available right after the end of the exam. Candidates have to accept or decline the result at the same time. Firstly, candidates have to mention the name of the Institute they wish to send the score immediately before the commencement of the exam. If a candidate will accept the score after the exam then his/her score will be available for the participating institutes to view. If decline, then the scores will not show. The official result will be sent to the selected institutes within 20 days of the exam.
