GATE Result 2018 – Download GATE Score Card online

All the applicants are eagerly waiting for their GATE Result which will be announced by IIT Guwahati on 17th March 2018. The GATE 2018 result will be announced online and candidates can see their result through the link provided in this article. To check the result of GATE 2018, candidates have to log in through GOAPS (GATE Online Application Process System). Only those candidates can download the GATE Score Card 2018 who will qualify the exam. The GATE Result 2018 carries All India Rank (AIR) and total marks obtained by the candidate.

Candidates can Download the GATE Scorecard from 20th March onwards. The last date to download the GATE Score Card is 31st May. After the last date, candidates can download the scorecard by paying Rs. 500/- until 31st December 2018. The GATE Result is valid for 3 years from the date of its announcement. GATE Result 2018

IIT Guwahati will release the GATE result on 17th March 2018. The score of the GATE will be calculated out of 100 which will be normalized according to the guidelines of the GATE Authority and the final score will be out of 1000. With the help of this score, candidates can also apply for the PSUs like BHEL, SAIL, ONGC, BSNL and many more. How to Check GATE Result 2018?

  1. To check your GATE Result, Firstly, visit the official website or click on the link which is provided below.
  2. As you click on the link, you will be redirected to the result window of the GATE.
  3. Now, enter the required details like registration id, Enrollment number, and date of birth.
  4.  After filling all these details, click on the Login button.
  5. Candidates can see the GATE Score on the screen. It will show whether that candidate is qualified or not.
  6. Only qualified candidates can download their scorecard.
  7. Keep the scorecard safe for the future use.

GATE Scorecard 2018

Normalization Procedure

The normalization process will be applicable on CE, CS, EC, EE and ME papers as these papers will be held in multi-sessions and slots. In this procedure, the row scores of the above-mentioned papers will be normalized to remove the discontinuity in difficulty level of multiple sessions. GATE Cutoff 2018

The cutoff is the minimum score to be secured by a candidate to qualify the GATE Exam. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE Cutoff after the declaration of the result. Till then candidates can check the previous year cutoff for their reference which is available below:
