Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) was established in the year 1953 to supervise and regulates various schools in Andhra Pradesh. This board executes various activities like designing of courses of studies, conducting examinations and granting recognition to the schools.
Functions Of BSEAP
- To prescribe schemes of studies, syllabus, and course of instructions for the higher secondary schools.
- Conducting of the exams timely.
- To demand and take fees prescribed by the regulations.
- To publish the result of examinations.
- Granting of the certificates of passing students.
- Providing scholarships and prizes to the deserving students.
- To Prescribe and select the textbooks and supplementary books.
- To make the conditions for recognizing the higher schools and junior colleges.

The syllabus of Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) is designed by the team of expert teachers of all the subjects. The syllabus is modified regularly by the team of experts for the different academic sessions. The board prepares the syllabus according to the overall growth of the students, present demand and necessity of the student’s growth.
The books of BSEAP are prepared by the academic wing of the board having the expert teachers of all subjects. The syllabus of the books is revised regularly according to the necessity. After preparation of the syllabus, textbooks are printed and published for the students.
BSEAP Hall Ticket
Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh issues the hall ticket or admit card for secondary examinations. All the admit cards/hall tickets are issued few days before the examinations. This hall ticket/Admit card is important to sit in the examination. The admit card has the information of student’s name, roll number, exam dates, and exam center. The Hall tickets are available online on the website of the board. The students can download the hall ticket from the website or the link given below:
Ministry of Education Andhra Pradesh conducts the major examination known as SSC/OSSC. This exam is conducted twice in a year. This is the major examination with the registration of 6-7 lakhs candidates for annual examination.
This board also takes some minor examinations like Professional Advancement test for teachers, National means cum merit scholarship examination, Headmasters accounts test, National Talent search examinations, Technical TTC examinations, LPT Exams( Telugu, Urdu, Hindi) etc.
